Roberto Cavalli for Target Australia Collaboration

Italian fashion designer, Roberto Cavali, is teaming up with Target Australia!

Heading the campaign is model Karolina Kurkova.

The collection will include casuals clothing, formal wear, swim wear and shoes, and prices will range between $49 and $129.

I've selected my four favourite outfits from the lookbook available at the target store online.
I'm most looking forward to the tuxedo shorts ($59), and the black tuxedo jacket ($99).

The animal print filled collection will be available online from October 31.

Havaianas and Sass & Bide Collaboration

Australian duo Sass & Bide have teamed up with Havaianas this summer to deliver a limited edition pair of thongs, 'Brazil Brazil'.

The slim thongs feature a grey and black cheetah print design and a single gold star charm.

Get your pair online today for $49.95.

Burberry Leather Sleeve Trench to Asos

Burberry's leather sleeved trench coat sold out after Emma Watson first stepped out in one.

Burberry London offers a similar designs (for the low low price of approx $2793).

A more affordable ($127.16), more accessible version of the trench is available online at Asos.

This should keep the weirdly sporadic winter weather away.

Geometric Prints

Geometric prints were a major part of A/W 12 collections from designers such as Prada, Tory Burch, Miu Miu and Kenzo.

But it's not fall in Australia!

Here are a few ways to wear the trend this Summer.

Happy last day of uni!

RMK to Dotti Metal Sandles

What would happen if a gladiator and a robot had a baby?

I have to mention that my inspiration for this post was Big Brother Australia host Sonia Kruger, whose BB outfits are always embellished with metal accessories.

I bought the rubi shoes sandals in black as a disposable pair of town flats. They did their job well and looked surprisingly good.

The Iconic: Billini, Minty Meets Munt

Lady Gaga 'Fame' In Store Now

Lady Gaga's perfume, Fame, is in store at the Myer Centre Rundle Mall now. Despite Gaga's strict instructions not to release the product until the launch, which will be on Sept 17 in Adelaide, Myer have decided to sell the fragrance in store as of today. Apparently customer demand weighs out over the laws of Gaga. However, it appears Myer is selling it with a guilty conscience, as the perfume is being sold at the back of the store. Accompanied by one tiny A4 sign, only one small display cabinet shows off the black fragrance.

Georg Jensen to Lovisa Fusion Ring

Georg Jensen Fusion Rings are stunning little puzzle pieces. I've been subconsciously admiring them in the pages of Vogue for years.

Lovisa are now selling Fusion style rings with genuine Swarovski crystals.

A mark drown from $3,500 to $25. Worth it? I think so.

NYFW Marc by Marc Jacobs SS 2013 RTW

Marc by Marc Jacobs

I can see this girly, whimsical collection all over the likes of Selena Gomez, the Disney girls and Carly Rae Jepson.

Loving the high waisted bather bottoms, and the geometric midriff top. Absolutely no doubt that the graffiti sweater is going to be big.

Once again, lovely to see Adelaide girl, Jemma Baines, working it on the runway (first image).

NYFW Marc Jacobs SS 2013 RTW

Marc Jacobs

Mr Marc Jacobs' show had a mod, retro feel mixed with references to the 90's.

Young Adelaide model, Jemma Baines, who models the Marcs campaign, did us proud (featured in leopard print look above).

I'm loving the bold stripes and mid-waist collared shirts.

How do you feel about the hip hugging skirts?

NYFW Thakoon Spring 2013 RTW

Thakoon

Not my favorite collection, but I did appreciate the fresh colour palette, selection of funky clogs and sweet hummingbird embroidery.

NYFW Pragbal Gurung Spring 2013 RTW

Pragbal Gurung

Loving the shorts- not a bum cheek in sight. My fashion prayers have been answered.

Lovely prints and fabrics also featured in the collection.

NYFW Helmut Lang Spring 2013 RTW

Helmut Lang

Once again, loving the bright prints and loving the nicely cut shorts.

They kind of remind me of boxers... really cool, super fashion foreword boxers.

NYFW 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013 RTW

3.1 Phillip Lim

The 'I heart nueva york' tops will be everywhere.
You just wait.

NYFW Lacoste Spring 2013 RTW

Lacoste

Lacoste was surprisingly quirky cool.

I found myself wanting a few choice pieces from the collection.

The plastic jackets and slips mixed with the refined mod feel gave off a bit of a blade runner feel.

NYFW Zac Posen Spring 2013 RTW

Zac Posen

Zac Posen gathered a lot of media attention due to (the legendary) Naomi Campbell walking the runway.

The peplum trend was certainly maintained through this collection. My favorite look was the stunning red gown paired witht the gorgeously shimmering jewels.

NYFW Diane Von Furstenburg Spring 2013 RTW

DVF

DVF is one of my all time favorite designers because of her love of bright prints, flattering drapery and kooky accents. This collection didn't disappoint.

Not going to deny it. I got a bit excited when I saw the loose fitting fuchia shorts. Loving it.

NYFW Carolina Herrera Spring 2013 RTW

Carolina Herrera

I love some of the details of this collection, such as the stark orange colour of some fabrics, the feminine and flattering cut of the high waisted shorts, and the gorgeous cat eye sunglasses.

However, the over all collection had a grandma-ish kind of feel. From the gaudy mish mash prints (not featured above), to the sheer overlay and the elasticated heels (the flats were cute though), I just wasn't 100% in love with it.

Louis Vuitton to Dotti Lace Collar

Louis Vuitton Lace Collar Update:

In a recent post, I mentioned that Cotton On have a Louis Vuitton inspired lace collar blouse. Upon reflection (i.e. more shopping), I have been made aware of a Louis Vuitton inspired white lace dress from Dotti.

This Dotti 'Daisy Mesh Dress' is available in store (I saw it in Rundle Mall) for $79.95.

Happy Spring Time!

Lady Gaga Fame Perfume Update

As you may or may not know, I am a huge Gaga fan/monster.

It should thus be no surprise that I am greatly anticipating the release of her first perfume, Fame.

The perfume was released a week or so ago overseas, but is yet to be released in Australia. The official release date here is a bit shady, so I went on my own investigation.

I'm a regular at the Marc Jacobs perfume corner at the Myer Centre in Rundle Mall, so I went to my favourite little sales woman and asked a few cheeky questions.

The lady let me know that *THE PERFUME IS IN AUSTRALIA ALREADY* by mentioning (under the table) that it smells amazing. She said that the staff have smelt it for "training purposes".

I also grilled her about the release day, which she said will be *most likely* 15 September!

You can all thank me in 15 days, when you're all smelling great and looking fiiiine.

On the catwalk, red carpet and the street; floral pants are making a huge comeback.
